The reader profile for NME magazine, compared to Kerrang!, is a lot more detailed about the interests of their target audience. As well as using percentages for gender, NME is able to target their audience better by having key stats for the use of interent and purchases of clothing and DVDs. This allows the magazine company to be specific on what they should advertise and how the style of writing will be put across to the reader. Using data from this reader profile allows the production of the magazine to be more specific to the genre as it displays information about opinions of people within the genre and what type of activities they do.
